 R134a, chemical name :1,1,1,2 - tetrafluoroethane, molecular composition: CH2FCF3, CAS registration number :811 -97-2, molecular weight: 102.0, HFC-based refrigerant, ODP value of zero. Thermal and physical properties of R134a, as well as its low toxicity, making it a very effective and safe alternatives. HFC-134a can be used in the current use of CFC-12 (dichlorodifluoromethane) in many areas, including: air conditioning, household appliances, small stationary refrigeration equipment, medium temperature supermarket refrigeration, industrial and commercial refrigerators, polymer foam, aerosol products, and protection of magnesium alloy gas.

 Used as refrigerants: R134a as a new generation of environmentally friendly refrigerants used to replace R12 (dichlorodifluoromethane), R22, mainly used in automobile air conditioners, refrigerators, freezers, drinking fountains, dehumidifiers, central air conditioning (chiller ), and other refrigeration and air conditioning equipment. 
 Used to protect the gas: for the protection of magnesium alloy processing of gas. 
 For the polymer foam: Polymer foam.
